For those of you who don't know, I work as an aeromechanical engineer at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Southern Maryland. Our Department's Machine Shop recently did some work for the Catapult Facility, and we were invited to watch launches of an F/A-18F Super Hornet (Salty Dog 123 of VX-23).
