As I mention in my other Washington and Baltimore sets, visiting those locations probably shouldn't be termed "travel," as they are both easily within two hours of our house in Southern Maryland. Maybe I'll have to reorganize...

The latest photos in this set are from our recent trip into D.C. for the Smithsonian Folklife Festival in July 2007. This year three areas were spotlighted: Northern Island, the Mekong River, and Virginia heritage. I didn't take a lot of pictures, but there are a couple from stops along the National Mall and then some pictures of the exhibits themselves.
